About Us

Our History

Add To Life Adult Daycare was founded in 1997 when two local women needed assistance caring for their developmentally disabled family members while they were at work. While there were other options available at the time, nothing felt quite right. These women, Cindy Dixon and Faye Evans, decided to do something to change that. Add To Life Adult Daycare is the result of their hard work, a place where we can help families stay together.

Our Mission

The mission of Add To Life Adult Daycare is to provide a comfortable setting the does not feel like an institution. We offer an environment that fosters the integration of senior citizens and developmentally disabled citizens. We are not focused on what the disability is, rather how to have a good time while living life to the fullest extent possible with new friends. Add To Life Daycare gives the community something different, allowing families to keep their loved ones out of long-term care facilities. We do this by providing many services their families cannot provide themselves.

Our Staff

Our Staff is willing to allow your loved one to pursue activities he or she enjoys while helping to also learn real-life skills. Everyone on our staff is CPR and First Aid certified, has completed multiple Alzheimer awareness training courses, and has passed two levels of background screenings. From the time you first arrive, you will feel at home when greeted with hellos, handshakes, and hugs.
